Ossining Library Teams in 'Battle of the Books' Competition

Kudos to all the kids who participated!

From the Ossining Public Library

On Saturday, October 18th the Ossining Public Library sent two teams to the first ever ‘Battle of the Books Competition’, which took place at Scarsdale Middle School.

The 4th-6th grade team (The Albert Einsteins) went to the semi-final round before being defeated. The 6th-9th grade team (The Erudites) won the competition in their age group, taking home the trophy for The Ossining Public Library.

Each team were given certain books to read and then asked specific questions about each book that they read. Public libraries from all over Westchester County participated. We are very proud of our kids, who are all Ossining School District Students!
