OSSINING, NY — Ossining police arrested a local resident Wednesday who is accused of indecently exposing himself to children, and began on Thursday to investigate a new report of a luring incident.

The 41-year-old faces a charge of endangering the welfare of a child for two separate incidents of exposing himself to kids. He was arraigned in Ossining Town Court and released on his own recognizance, police said.

The luring report came from a child approached on Croton Avenue, police said, who said that as they walked home from school, a man attempted to lure them into his car by indicating that a parent had sent him to pick up the child. "Thankfully, the victim was smart and immediately ran home to tell an adult," police said.
