Ossining Police Make Arrest In Shooting Incident
The accused is a 30-year-old Ossining resident.

OSSINING, NY — The Ossining Police Department announced the arrest of Mario Mieles, a 30-year-old Ossining resident, for his involvement in a shooting that occurred on Sunday on Van Cortlandt Avenue.
Mieles turned himself in this afternoon at the Birdsall-Fagan Police & Court Facility, said Chief Kevin Sylvester. He has been charged with Assault in the First Degree, was arraigned in Ossining Town Court, and remanded to the Westchester County Jail. The victim remains hospitalized.
Police officials told residents on Facebook that the shooting was not gang-related.
