"People and Places" Concert

Free concert - Youth Wind Ensemble of Westchester - Friday, May 22, 7pm, Ossining High School

Everyone is invited on Friday, May 22nd at 7pm as the Youth Wind Ensemble of Westchester performs a FREE concert in the Ossining High School auditorium. Youth Wind Ensemble of Westchester is an ensemble for highly motivated high school band students – woodwinds, brass and percussion – under the direction of Bradley Morrison, Cultural Arts Director for the Ossining school system. Its members are from throughout Westchester County and it is a program of the Ossining Parks and Recreation Department.
This concert’s theme is “People and Places” and it will include:
• An Italian in Algiers overture by Rossini
• Three Ayres from Gloucester by Hugh Stuart
• Puszta: Four Gipsy Dances by Jan Van der Roost
• An American in Paris by Gershwin
• Pines of the Appian Way by Respighi
Come enjoy the talent of these fine musicians and support Westchester’s cultural arts leaders of tomorrow.
