Rte 133 Closed Between Rts 9A and 100
Crews are still trying to repair damage from an accident Monday when an ambulance crashed into a utility pole.
State transportation officials announce that Route 133 is closed all the way from Route 9A to Route 100 in the wake on an accident near the Ossining-New Castle border.
The closure could last into early Tuesday afternoon, DOT officials said.
A crash broke a utility pole between Barnes and Edgewood roads yesterday afternoon. Then, only that section of Route 133 was closed. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes -- once on that section of Route 133, there is a circuituous back way to North State Road.
