Man Accused in Child Porn Case was TV's 'Law and Order' Director

Jace Alexander was arrested yesterday.

The Dobbs Ferry man who faces felony charges connected to possession and sharing sexual performances of children, is Jace Alexander, the actor, director, and producer.

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced yesterday that Jason Alexander of 42 Bellair Drive possessed and shared digital files of illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children less than 17 years old.

Alexander, known as Jace, is known for Law & Order, Rescue Me and Carry Me Home, according to his bio on imdb.com. He is directing The son of actress Jane Alexander, he is married with children.

  • one count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “D” Felony,
  • one count of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” Felony

He is accused of promoting a video of a young girl stripping and masturbating by making it available for viewing, according to court documents obtained by the NY Post.

The Post quotes the Rivertowns Enterprise about Alexander’s comedy series project, “Coop,” for which he filmed scenes this winter in Hastings-on-Hudson.

He’s due back in Dobbs Ferry village court Nov. 19.
