Temperatures may get close to 50 degrees Wednesday in the Hudson Valley. Still, don't be surprised if you see snow after the sun goes down.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Dutchess and Ulster counties, where pockets of light snow, sleet and freezing rain are possible. A light glaze of ice could lead to slippery conditions on any untreated surfaces.

Even in the southern end of the valley, flurries are possible. With temps dropping to the low 30s, that could also be rain.
