The Time Has Come For Healthcare For All

The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns will host a program on THE TIME HAS COME FOR HEALTHCARE FOR ALL on Tuesday, May 10 at 8:30 AM.

The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns will host a program on THE TIME HAS COME FOR HEALTHCARE FOR ALL on Tuesday, May 10 at 8:30 AM at the Eldorado West Diner, located at 480 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY.

Elizabeth Rosenthal, M.D. of Physicians for a National Health Program will discuss bill A05062/S03525 pending in the legislature and how New York can lead the way in providing healthcare for everyone while saving billions for both businesses and the public.

Dr. Rosenthal is a retired dermatologist residing in Westchester County. She was in practice in Mamaroneck for 31 years and was on the volunteer faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine for 33 years where she supervised students and residents in the Pediatric Dermatology clinic.

In conjunction with our program, the LWV-Rivertowns urges those interested in healthcare reform to take the time to view “FIX IT, Healthcare at The Tipping Point”, a powerful new documentary that reaches across the political and ideological divide to expand support for major healthcare reform.
