HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The cloud cover will thicken all morning as the region awaits the latest snowfall. High pressure to the north should keep us mainly dry throughout the morning, with an increasing chance of light snow as the day progresses.

Temperatures will average well below normal, with highs mainly in the middle and upper 20s.

"Much of the area could see snow flakes during the morning, but the accumulating snow appears likely to hold off until mid afternoon, and at that point… it’s mostly in areas north of I-84," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
