HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Tornado warnings were issued before dawn Thursday as the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred continued to pass through the region after devastating upstate Steuben County.

Meanwhile, eyes and attention have already turned to Tropical Storm Henri.

Henri is moving west, and is expected to turn north as it strengthens to hurricane status, followed by an acceleration toward the north and north-northeast Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
