HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The torrential downpour that flooded streams and streets (and caused Yonkers officials to offer sandbags to residents) brought a lot of rain to the lower Hudson Valley in a short period of time Monday.
Some communities in Westchester were hit by more than 4 inches, as were parts of northern New Jersey.
