Watch Ossining's O-Bots in NYC at Javits Center March 12-13th
Free admission for Saturday-Sunday matches, or watch online as over 200 teams compete to advance to the national championships!
Ossining’s championship robotics team will compete in FIRST Robotics Competition’s New York Regional event at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. Matches are Saturday, March 12th from 9am – 4pm and Sunday, March 13th from 9-3. Over 200 teams from the New York tri-state area, Arizona, Brazil, China, Ecuador, Turkey, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom will vie to be among the five teams who advance to the national championship in St. Louis. Ossining’s team competed in St. Louis in 2012 and 2013.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) engages high school students in a six-week build season to create a robot that can perform each year’s unique game. This year’s challenge, STRONGHOLD, requires a robot that can launch “boulders”, climb over barriers, and scale a tower.

About Ossining Engineering: The Ossining Engineering Club enables Ossining High School students to get involved in the process of engineering, machine work, computer programming, team organization, and electrical work.
