Westchester Libraries to Lose Internet During Data Center Move

It'll only last from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning, WLS officials said. And libraries are making accommodations.

The Westchester Library System will start moving its data center at 3 p.m. Thursday.

This will affect services in all the libraries in the system for the remainder of the day Thursday, WLS officials said on their website -- which will be offline during the move.

So will library websites hosted by WLS.

Also, there will be no internet or wireless available in the libraries during this time.

The WLS Online Catalog will continue to function as will OverDrive.
