When Will It Hit 90: Hudson Valley Work Week Weather
Evening and nighttime temperatures will begin building too. Here are the details.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The forecasters are predicting a long heat wave. Still, here is how the National Weather Service is approaching it:
Today will feature abundant sunshine, low humidity, and temperatures near or just above normal. A warm front will pass near or just north of the area on Tuesday. This will mark the beginning of a warming trend as highs will be a few degrees warmer than on Monday, generally in the upper 80s to around 90. Hot and humid weather will then make a return for the mid to late week period.
That doesn't seem too bad.
But here's how Accuweather is approaching it. Kristina Pydynowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist, wrote:

Widespread highs in the lower 90s will expand northward along the Interstate-95 corridor from Washington, D.C., to Philadelphia on Tuesday. A few locations farther north will crack the 90-degree mark on Tuesday before highs in the 90s engulf nearly the entire I-95 corridor on Wednesday. When humidity is factored in, AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures will soar between 95 and 105 these days.

Ouch!
