Oil Truck Flips in Old Brookville
Emergency units worked to secure the scene for hours.
An oil truck flipped over on Chicken Valley Road Friday an hour before snow began to fall.
The accident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Friday on Chicken Valley Road just west of the Wolver Hollow Road intersection, according to police. An oil truck had reportedly turned over on the road.
Nassau County Police emergency service units and fire personnel remained at the scene to secure it. A crane was brought to the scene to lift the truck back up and the road was still closed as of 2:30 p.m.

Brookville Police could not confirm the cause of the accident.
No injuries have been reported yet.
