Unsafe Bathing Conditions At Oyster Bay Beaches After Heavy Rainfall
Officials have issued an unsafe beach advisory for multiple beaches on the North Shore.

OYSTER BAY, NY — The Nassau County Department of Health has issued an advisory against bathing at 20 beaches for Monday, including Oyster Bay and nearby beaches.
This is a precautionary advisory for beaches that are known to be affected by stormwater runoff caused by heavy rainfall, which can impact bacteria levels.
Glen Cove's Crescent Beach recently reopened this summer after it was shuttered for 17 years due to unsafe bacteria levels that exceeded New York State's standard for bathing water quality.
