Market Table by Cafe M closed for good Sunday afternoon, according to a sign on the front door.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN -- A Seventh Avenue cafe and restaurant shuttered its doors Sunday afternoon because of a "dispute with the landlord," according to a sign posted on the front door.

Market Table by CafĂŠ M, a coffee shop and casual eatery on the corner of Seventh Avenue and Garfield Place, closed the space Sunday afternoon, about one year after the restaurant first opened, owners wrote.

"Due to a dispute with the landlord Market Table by CafĂŠ M will be closing this location," the sign read. "We hope to reopen soon nearby to continue serving you farm fresh foods and great coffee."

The Park Slope location first opened on Seventh Avenue in the fall of 2017, according to a DNAinfo report. Both locations promised diners organic and locally-sourced food that would support local farmers.

The building has belonging to Joung Sik Tak, who did not immediately reply to Patch's request for comment, since 2003, city records show.
