8os Balladeer Richard Marx To Perform New Songs On Long Island
The crooner/songwriter is best known for "Right Here Waiting," "Endless Summer Nights," and "Hold on to the Nights," and other tunes.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Singer and songwriter Richard Marx — famous for 80s ballads like "Endless Summer Nights" and "Hold on to the Nights" — is set to perform at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Nov. 12.
Marx's first single from his self-titled album, "Don't Mean Nothing," soared to number three on Billboard Hot 100 chart, according to Wikipedia. He is the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach Billboard's top five, scoring a total of 14 number one singles, both as a performer and as a songwriter/producer, the website reported.
His chart-topping hits also include "Right Here Waiting," and "Satisfied," according to the website.

Marx has written or collaborated on songs with artists like NSYNC for "This I Promise You" and "Dance with My Father" by Luther Vandross, Wikipedia states.
Marx said he has had such an "amazing opportunity" in his career "to write all kinds of songs with, and for, all kinds of artists," according to the Patchogue Theatre's website.

“It finally occurred to me that there was no reason not to record an album of my own that touches on multiple genres I love," he added.
