Patchogue Village Justice Court Clerk Elected President of Nassau-Suffolk Justice Court Clerk’s Association

Patchogue Village Justice has announced that Patchogue Village Senior Justice Court Clerk was recently elected to serve a two year term as the President of the Nassau-Suffolk Justice Court Clerk’s Association.  Justice McGuire swore Ms. Newham in as President on February 3, 2011.  (See photo attachment of Patchogue Village Justice McGuire and Senior Village Justice Court Clerk Newham at swearing in ceremony). 

 Ms. Newham was hired by the Village of Patchogue in 2003 to serve as the Senior Justice Court Clerk on the advice and consent of Village Justice Christopher P. McGuire.

Ms. Newham has been instrumental in Nassau and Suffolk County in providing training to justice court clerks on courtroom, record keeping, financial accounting procedures and updates in New York State traffic law.  Ms. Newham has served as the Suffolk County district representative for the New York State Association of Magistrate Court Clerks (NSAMCC) since 2007.
