The 3rd Annual Play for Peace/Jugando por la Paz Soccer Tournament is a collaborative effort by Legislator Eddington, the Village of Patchogue, the Patchogue Medford Youth Soccer League, local business owners and residents. In the spirirt of the Olympics and the World Cup; the Play for Peace Soccer Tournament brings people of various nationalities together for a day of exciting soccer.
This year the event will be open to up to 16 men's teams and 8 women's teams of 20 players, to compete in a World Cup-styled tournament play. Games are played on full regulation fields and will consist of 20-minute halves. Each team will play in minimum of 3 games.
