Beer Bottle Assault at The Emporium Sends Man to Hospital
The incident occurred early Sunday morning.
Police are investigating an assault that occurred at The Emporium in Patchogue early Sunday morning.
According to police, a 23-year-old man was struck in the head with a glass bottle during an altercation inside the Railroad Avenue nightlife venue at about 1:46 a.m. He was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center to be treated for lacerations to his neck.
No arrests have been made. Police did not release any further info on the incident.
