Dine Til Nine Event Postponed Due To Weather

PATCHOGUE, NY - Patchogue's first Dine Til 9 Main Street Dining that was set to take place Thursday, been canceled and rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Due to the forecast for rain and thunderstorms Thursday night, the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce announced the roads will be closed for the event. The event will resume Thursday, September 17.

The new initiative to close Main Street from 6 to 9 p.m. in order to allow restaurants to add more outdoor dining capacity and to encourage residents to eat out downtown, was supposed to launch Thursday. The event is in addition to the ongoing Sundays In The Street afternoon street closure that runs through the fall.
