7th annual Long Island Psychology Conference (LIPC)

St. Joseph’s College is pleased to announce that it will serve as the host institution for the 7th annual Long Island Psychology Conference (LIPC).

The primary goals of the conference are to provide a public forum for undergraduate and graduate students to present original research findings and to foster the development of professional relationships with others in the field of psychology.

This year’s conference will feature presentations from two noted psychologists, Dr. Peter Lin of St. Joseph’s College and Dr. Joanne Davila of Stony Brook University. Dr. Davila will be presenting her work on relationships and depressed mood in adolescence, while Dr. Lin will discuss his experience with disaster relief counseling following the earthquakes in China and Haiti.
