BAY SHORE, NY — Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a death at Bay Shore Marina, Suffolk County police said.

Police were notified by a 911 caller about the death at about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The death appears to be “non-criminal” in nature, a police spokeswoman said. The name of the person was not released.

Homicide detectives are called in to investigate all unattended deaths in the county as part of a standard protocol. No further details were available.
