Levy Praises Arrest of Suspected Pharmacy Killer
County executive releases statement on arrest of man believed to be Medford resident David Laffer.

In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy praised police for their work in an individual Wednesday morning believed to be connected to the Father's Day quadruple at Haven Drugs in Medford.
Several news sources have identified that man as 33-year-old David Laffer, of Medford, but police have yet to confirm that and Levy did not identify the suspect by name in his statement.
“The residents of Suffolk County are extraordinarily proud of the outstanding police work performed to rapidly bring into custody an individual suspected in the heinous quadruple murder that took place just three days ago,” Levy said.
