Life Coaching Business Opens on Patchogue's Main Street

Medford's Connie and Natalie Henriquez recently celebrated the grand opening of their 'Start Loving Life' life coaching business on Patchogue's Main Street.

It took what “Start Loving Life” founder Connie Henriquez called a “quarter-life crisis” at age 26 to come to the realization that there was more to life than material success.

After 10 years in the beauty industry Connie decided that she needed change.

“I was looking for purpose again,” she said.

Sisters Connie and Natalie, vice president of business operations, recently hosted a grand opening of their new office space at 83 E. Main Street in Patchogue. After three years of running the business out of their home in Medford, “Start Loving Life” had expanded enough to move into downtown Patchogue in August.

“We knew they were looking to bring a lot of new businesses to Patchogue,” Connie said. “Since we’re local residents in Medford we love the village and we wanted to just contribute, especially our life coaching and services to an area that can really benefit from it.”

The sisters' upbeat and positive style is apparent the moment you walk into their new building. The office is located on the second floor of office space located across from the . They say that the first time they set foot in their new office they knew it was the right spot for them.

“We walked into this building and we were like ‘this is it,” Connie said.

“We had looked at a lot of other spaces and we were like ‘ehhh,” Natalie added. "But we came in here and were like, ‘right on, this is it.”

Their self-described “cutting edge” techniques towards life coaching consist of taking the things they’ve personally learned and helping people implement similar things into their lives.

“We take spiritual principles are we relate them to reality and we teach you how to leverage your life now to live an amazing life," Connie said. "There are certain processes that I educate the clients on because based on my own journey I was able to transform my own life. It took me years and lots of money to figure that out and I offer that to my clients so they learn how to leverage their present circumstances to work for them.”

Beyond the sing-a-long workshops that are scheduled to being this month and the one-on-one training that Connie gives in her office, the sisters have a simple goal in mind for all of their clients.

"Our mission is to help people improve upon their lives,” Natalie said. “Life is supposed to be great, life is supposed to be fun. Everyone, every single person has the opportunity to do that.

"I don’t care what kind of job you have, what type of upbringing you have, or what you look like. Everyone has the opportunity to have an amazing life and we help people do that. And it’s a lot of fun.”
