Man on Bike Robs Woman in E. Patchogue Parking Lot

A man on a bike forcibly stole a pocketbook from a woman walking in a parking lot in East Patchogue Monday night, police said.

The robbery occurred at the East Winds apartment complex located at 887 Montauk Highway at 7:30 p.m.

During the struggle to retain her pocketbook, the women fled and injured her wrist, police said.

The man fled with the pocketbook, which contained money, police said. Police did not release a description of the robber. 

No arrests have been made. It’s the second robbery in less than a week at East Winds. On the morning of Oct. 28, a woman was robbed and struck with a gun at the apartment complex.
