Man Taken to Hospital After Assault Outside The Emporium

PATCHOGUE, NY - A 21-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he reported being assaulted outside The Emporium in Patchogue early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. outside the Railroad Avenue nightlife venue. Police told Patch Monday that the victim had been inside The Emporium, but was escorted out following a dispute.

Police did not specify how seriously the victim was injured or provide any other details on the incident. No arrests have been made.

In October, a 23-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck in the head with a glass bottle during an altercation at The Emporium.
