NJ Gym Honors Patchogue's Michael Murphy With Workout
Fitness challenge in Murphy's memory includes of two miles of running, hundreds of push-ups, reports NBC40.

A New Jersey gym held a fitness challenge Saturday dedicated to the memory of Navy Lieutenant of Patchogue, reports NBC40.
"The Murph", as put together by the Off the Grid gym in Egg Harbor Township, consists of a mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats and another mile run. Participants of the challenge, who reportedly hydrated for days to perform this, also had the option of performing all of the above with a 20-pound weighted vest.
The gym regularly hosts workouts dedicated in memory of veterans.

"I think sometimes we take for granted what they've actually done for us," said Paul DeMarco, a gym member in the report.
