Patchogue Man Arrested for Stabbing and Killing 21-Year-Old in Brooklyn: NYPD

A 22-year-old is charged with second-degree murder.

A 22-year-old Patchogue man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing and a 21-year-old man in Brooklyn over the weekend, according to the NYPD.

Thomas Hall is charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Following a 911 call, Jaiquan Thorne, 21, was found unconscious by first responders at about 6 a.m. in front of 122 Fenimore Street in Lefferts Gardens, police said — right across the street from his own home at 127 Fenimore St.

Thorne had been stabbed in the chest, police said. He was rushed to nearby Kings County Hospital, where he was declared dead soon after.

Friends and family mourned Thorne's early death on their social-media pages Sunday.

"This isn't real," his sister, Janisa Thorne, wrote on Facebook. "love you always & always & always & always, baby bro. You've had my heart from the day you were born & now it's gone with you..."

Hall was arrested Sunday by detectives with the 71st Precinct, police said. Information was not immediately available concerning his upcoming appearance in court.
