
From Patchogue- Medford High: Patchogue-Medford High School senior Megan Kremer was awarded the T. Denny Sanford Scholarship, a full ride to LIU Post, for her hard work related to the school’s Virtual Enterprise program.
“Megan is an outstanding student,” said Rich Butzke, a business teacher at Patchogue-Medford High School and the advisor for the Virtual Enterprise club. “I have had her in my classes for three years now and she continues to be one of my top students in everything that she does.”
With an emphasis on college and career readiness, VE is an in-school, live, global business simulation that offers students a competitive edge through project-based, collaborative learning and the development of 21st-century skills in entrepreneurship, global business, problem solving, communication, personal finance and technology.

Whether it is college accounting or Virtual Enterprise she is always working hard and helping others.
Kremer is the CEO of the Virtual Enterprise Class, EVOTech, and a member of the presentation team that went to the VE National Championships this year. This was a group of the top 28 teams in the country out of more than 800 competing throughout the school year.

She won the NYS StockMarket game in 2016 and is also a member of the Raiderettes, treasurer of the National Business Honor Society, and President of FBLA.
Kremer will be studying business management at LIU Post in the fall.
