Police: Masked Man Robs Patchogue Family Dollar Store
Robbery occurred Thursday night, police say.
A man wearing a mask robbed the Family Dollar store in Patchogue Village Thursday night, police said.
According to police, the man entered the store, located at 59 S. Ocean Avenue, at about 10:30 p.m. He forcibly stole a cellphone from a woman inside the store and also demanded that an employee hand over cash from the register, police said.
The employee complied with the demand and the robber fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
