Pre-Leasing Details for New Village Emerge
Tritec says options expected 14 months after construction begins. Construction date not announced.
An estimated timeline for pre-leasing options for Tritec Real Estate company's New Village plan was announced at a housing seminar held at the on Tuesday.
The will place 291 apartments, 46,000 square feet of retail space and 18,000 square feet of office space in the location of the vacant Swezey’s department store on Main Street.
Christopher Kelly from Tritec Real Estate company announced that pre-leasing options for the apartments would be available approximately 14 months after they are able to begin construction. Kelly said that construction will take approximately two years.

A date for construction to begin has not yet been announced.
Kelly said pricing options are expected to be at or below market rate. Rob Loscalzo, chief operation officer for Tritec, said at a work session that at the current rate of inflation rates would begin at $1,200 per month for a studio when below market rate and upwards to $2,600 a month for a three-bedroom unit at market rate.

The housing seminar was held to discuss current and future housing and rental options in Patchogue with a panel that included Patchogue Village mayor Paul Pontieri, representatives from local realtors, attorneys and financial consultants.
Patchogue resident Lauren Kenna said she attended the meeting to gain more information on how to repair her credit score and what steps to take toward obtaining her own housing.
Approximately 20 people attended the seminar.
