UPDATE: Missing Bellport Man Found Safe: Suffolk Police

UPDATE: Suffolk police say Steffan Lamotte has been found unharmed.

BELLPORT, NY — A Bellport man with physical and psychological impairments went missing on Saturday.

Steffan Lamotte was last seen leaving a friend’s home, located home on Gray Avenue in Medford, at about 1 p.m. on Saturday, police said. He is white, stands at about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, and has gray hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, black shoes, and a blue sweatshirt with a team logo on the front and a reddish or orange hood.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about Lamotte’s location to call 911 or 6th Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.

Suffolk's Silver Alert is a program was implemented to allow local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
