Village: Laura Feitner Appointed to ZBA

Laura Feitner was sworn in as a new member of the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) at Monday's Village Board of Trustees meeting at .

Feitner said that she is excited to share her knowledge for Patchogue Village’s benefit.

“It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was 3 years old,” Feitner said with a smile. “I’ve always felt it was very important to use your professional skills to give back to the community.”

The ZBA typically meets twice a month and reviews requests from residential and business owners regarding property use.

In April, the ZBA that was the final hurdle for Tritec's to place residential, commercial and office space in the location of the vacated Swezey's in Patchogue.
