• Man arrested on felony gun charge in Patterson (newportdispatch.com) — A Connecticut driver was arrested in Patterson after deputies say they found a loaded handgun in his car during an Aug. 12 traffic stop in the Putnam Lake area. The man, who allegedly lacked a valid pistol permit, faces a felony firearm charge and multiple traffic violations, and is due in Town of Patterson Justice Court at a later date.
