Arrest in Hudson Valley Hospital Threat

The incident Tuesday was investigated by state police.

CORTLANDT, NY — The man who police say caused Tuesday's disturbance at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital faces a harassment charge.

At 2:10 p.m., New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks learned of a threat made against hospital staff by telephone.

The caller was identified after investigation as Anthony G. Alfano, 39, of the Bronx, police said.

Alfano turned himself over to state police and was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree. He was arraigned before the Honorable Daniel O’Brien in the Village of Buchanan Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail. Alfano is due to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on Jan. 13.
