Bear Wanders Through Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, NY — Sightings of a bear have now been reported all over northwestern Westchester. Peekskill is the latest, with three sightings reported Wednesday.

If it's the same bear, it is wandering about from here to there and here to there. Calls about sightings are coming in to local police. New Castle police reminded people to be cautious, and in one article we reminded readers of the rules of engagement as put forth by the New York state Department of Environmental Conservation, and urged everyone to become citizen scientists.
