Con Ed Outages Linger In Northern Westchester: UPDATE
About 160 customers are still without power in Northern Westchester, the utility reports.

NORTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — More than 160 Con Edison customers are still without power a day after a nor'easter plowed through the Hudson Valley. Power is out in some neighborhoods in Bedford, Briarcliff Manor, Buchanan, Cortlandt, Mount Pleasant, New Castle, Ossining, Peekskill, Pleasantville and Yorktown.
Restoration estimates have most of the communities coming back on the grid either late Monday night or Tuesday morning. The outages in Buchanan are being reassessed as of 6:30 p.m. Monday.
NORTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — Consolidated Edison reports almost 700 customers without power the morning after a fierce storm struck the Hudson Valley. Power is out in neighborhoods in Cortlandt, New Castle, North Castle, Pleasantville and Yorktown.

Restoration times are still pending in most cases.
Some schools are closed, including Somers, Mahopac and Katonah Lewisboro. Bedford schools announced a 2-hour delay.
