Cops: Putnam Woman Accused of Burglarizing Relative's Cortlandt Home
Police allege it's the second time this spring.

CORTLANDT, NY — New York State Police arrested Kathleen S. O’Donnell of Cold Spring, New York on May 3. They charged her with two counts of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.
Troopers from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched by 911 for a reported burglary in progress at a residence located on Adele Court in the Town of Cortlandt. Surveillance footage from the residence showed O’Donnell, who is related to the victim, inside the home, police allege. O’Donnell’s 2011 GMC Terrain was spotted by a member of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Cold Spring and she was subsequently arrested.
An investigation revealed that this is the second time O’Donnell is alleged to have burglarized the residence. She was also charged with burglarizing the home on May 1, 2017. The 51-year-old was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court in front of the Honorable Daniel McCarthy and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail or $10,000 bond. O’Donnell is scheduled to reappear in court on May 4.
