Don't Miss: Historic Peekskill Landing Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Friday

The City of Peekskill is pleased to announce the grand opening of Historic Peekskill Landing, the first phase of its $8.3 million park-land redevelopment on the Hudson River waterfront. This new 4.4 acre park includes a floating dock for non-motorized water-craft, a kayak launch, boardwalk, gazebo, sculptures, paved paths, footbridge, and other amenities, and is a joint venture between the City of Peekskill and Scenic Hudson.
Project funding was secured through grants awarded by Empire State Development, the NYS Department of State, the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation; park acquisition by Scenic Hudson; and matching funds from the City of Peekskill.

DIRECTIONS: The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on the Peekskill Landing waterfront adjacent to Riverfront Green in Peekskill. Take Route 9 to the Hudson Avenue exit, cross over the railroad tracks, make the first right in the park and proceed to end.
