DWI for Driver of Erratic Vehicle on Kings Ferry Road

James A. Zambrano, 41, of Buchanan, faces a charge of Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Zambrano was driving on Kings Ferry Road Feb. 27 for failing to maintain its lane of travel, police said. While talking to him, troopers noted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.

Zambrano provided police with a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .10 percent. He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on March 13.
