Apathy's Children: Etchings and Monotypes by Elana Goren

The Field Library Gallery is proud to present the works of Elana Goren in an exhibition entitled "Apathy's Children," a series that truly touches the viewer on a visceral and emotional level. Devastating and captivating, the etchings and monotypes draw the viewer in with seemingly pastoral themes, but it is only when one looks closer that the dark figures and silent screams are revealed.

The opening of "Apathy's Children" is on Saturday, October 22, 2011, from 12 noon until 4pm. The show will run until November 19th, and viewing hours are the same as the Field Library open hours. For more information, please contact Sibyl Canaan, Library Director, at (914) 737-7110, email scanaan@wlsmail.org, or Alicia Morgan, Curator, at astillman@wlsmail.org.
