Cruise over to the Budarz Theater to meet noted maritime historian John Maxtone-Graham, who will discuss his latest book, France/Norway: France’s Last Liner/Norway’s First Mega Cruise Ship with librarian John Hawkins. Spending a majority of his life at sea, Mr. Maxtone-Graham is an internationally-recognized authority on ocean liners and cruise ships, regularly lecturing aboard vessels around the world. He is the author of a number of maritime-themed works including Queen Mary 2, Normandie and Titanic Survivor, the annotated memoirs of Violet Jessop, a stewardess who escaped three sea disasters including the Titanic.
