Old School R&B with Jamaikit Funky

Let's Celebrate with Jamaikit Funky, returning by popular demand to bring us an old-school R&B fest that you will not want to miss!

Keyboardist John Adams has played with De La Soul, Cameo, Harry Belafonte, and has been Musical Director for Phyllis Hyman, Melba Moore, Freddie Jackson, Keith Sweat, and more.

Kim Clarke has played with Defunkt, Joe Henderson, Yusef Lateef, and has recorded with Queen Latifah and Nona Hendryx.

Kevin Perry's first group was "Funkhouse Express" which recorded "Music Makes You Move". He co-founded "Many Faces of Soul" and, in 1979, joined the "Board of Directors". Kevin has recorded with Lonnie Liston Smith and toured with the R&B legends Evelyn "Champagne" King and Wilson Pickett.

Russell Worrell, son of Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, spent his early years touring with King Curtis & Aretha Franklin and at studio sessions with Donny Hathaway, Roberta Flack, Grady Tate, Steely Dan, and others. He also co-founded Me & My Friends.
