Kenny White is an accomplished pianist, originally renowned as a composer and producer in radio, film and television where he worked with artists including Gladys Knight, Linda Ronstadt and Ricky Skaggs. It was his critical success as a composer of film soundtracks from Forces of Nature to EdTV that inspired him to embark on his first studio album, “Uninvited Guest,” in 2002. Throughout his career as a touring singer-songwriter, White has performed with and opened for Cheryl Wheeler, Shawn Colvin, Peter Wolf and Richard Shindell. White’s most recent album, “Comfort in the Static,” is a collection of songs following the human condition with both unbridled detail and humor in which White blends soulful songwriting while fusing the boundaries of jazz, blues, rock, pop and folk music.
