Ricardo Gautreau Trio with Doug Munro on guitar and Gerardo Madera on bass

Ricardo's style is a unique stew of Rock, Jazz, and Latin.

He has studied with noted composer/pianist John Lewis (Modern Jazz Quartet); master composer/pianist Ran Blake; and Jazz guitar legend Sal Salvador, and has been influenced by Robert Johnson, the Beatles, Sam Cooke, and Juan Luis Guerra.

Ricardo will be joined by Doug Munro and Ariel De La Portilla. Since 1987 Doug has released eleven albums as leader and over 60 recordings as a sideman, producer, and arranger. He has performed with Dr. John, Michael Brecker, and Dr. Lonnie Smith, among others, and has received two Grammy nominations and two NAIRD awards.

Bassist/composer Gerardo Madera is a real pro on the Latin Jazz scene.
