Get to Know A Local Farmer's Market Vendor: Worldling's Pleasure

Worldling's Pleasures offers a variety of baked goods and fine cheese products made from local ingredients.

Worldling’s Pleasures is new to this year’s . The company is based out of Watervliet, NY and run by Heidi Flynn, 54, who travels over two hours to bring her delicious baked good and artisan cheeses to the market’s shoppers each Saturday.

Encouraged by friend to join the market, Flynn says that they plan on returning every week.

“We’re looking forward to spending some time here this summer,” said Flynn.

Flynn, whose business is a Pride of New York organization, uses locally sourced products in her baked goods and cheeses. Her best-selling products this year so far have been dips, which include ingredients such as asiago cheese, artichoke and spinach. Flynn also noted that people really enjoy her cheesecake tarts.

And what’s the best the best thing about the market according to Flynn?

“Sustainability, of course,” said the vendor. “And locals coming together builds a sense of community. We’ve meet so many wonderful people doing this.”
