Grand Opening Planned for Southern Waterfront Park, Trailway
The ceremony will take place at the Travis Cove overlook.

PEEKSKILL, NY - The completion of the South Waterfront Park and Trailway, the second phase of Peekskill's ambitious waterfront restoration and renovation project, will be marked with a special ceremony April 15.
The $8.3 million parkland redevelopment project now includes this 3-acre park and 1-mile trail system running from Riverfront Green to Charles Point Pier Park.Β The features include an elevated walkway over Travis Cove, floating docks and interpretive signage.
The ceremony will be held at the Travis Cove overlook at 2 p.m. April 15.

Grants for the project were awarded by Empire State Development, the NYS Department of State, Ginsberg Development Companies, with matching funds from the city.
