“This is a great accomplishment and speaks volumes about the caliber of staff and students we have at Hendrick Hudson High School,” said high school Principal James Mackin. “Hendrick Hudson is a great high school and we should be extremely proud as a community for this recognition.”
Superintendent Joseph E. Hochreiter added, “These accolades are the result of focused students, committed staff and leadership. This recognition is well-deserved.”
In a new development, the 2014 recognitions include two sets of rankings: an absolute list and a relative list called “America’s Top High Schools for Low-Income Students.” Hendrick Hudson is part of the absolute list.
